Battery Centre Gothenburg site visit and midsummer networking dinner
Organized by Business Region Göteborg
Are you an international delegate? Join an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Battery Centre Gothenburg, a cutting-edge hub for battery training and education. The site visit will be followed by a Swedish midsummer-themed networking event and dinner for EVS delegates at nearby Kooperativet, a unique 1,200 sqm venue. The event is an excellent opportunity to build your professional network in a relaxed setting.
Battery Centre Gothenburg is located at Lindholmen in the heart of Gothenburg’s tech and mobility cluster. In the coming years, the public-private initiative will train and educate thousands of industrial staff and students in battery manufacturing and technology.

The site visit is arranged by Business Region Göteborg, Gothenburg’s economic development agency, in collaboration with Battery Centre Gothenburg.
The networking event and dinner is arranged by Business Region Göteborg, and made possible by partners: Business Sweden, DNB Bank, EIT Manufacturing North, Voltage: CoVE project, FKG – the Scandinavian association for the suppliers to the automotive industry, GREAT, Göteborgs Tekniska College, Telematics Valley and Volvo Group Technology.

Site visit at Nordic Hub Säve
Join us for a guided tour and visit to Nordic Hub Säve – a globally unique site for sustainable logistics and electromobility. Only 15 minutes from the Port of Gothenburg, the largest port in the Nordics, Castellum is developing this strategic location into a future-focused hub for electrified transports, logistics, and smart infrastructure. With three million square meters of potential in one of Northern Europe’s most innovative industrial clusters, Nordic Hub Säve offers a powerful platform for large-scale development and next-generation mobility. Nordic Hub Säve is emerging as a creative meeting place where collaboration fuels regional and global growth.
This visit provides insight into one of Sweden’s most ambitious development projects. The tour begins at Nordic Hub Säve and continues to Halvorsäng – a nearby logistics site jointly owned by Castellum and the Port of Gothenburg, already under development – before concluding with a visit to the Port itself.
The evening includes food from a local food truck and casual networking with fellow EVS attendees in a relaxed outdoor setting.
