If you have your abstract in draft mode, you can log in to the system and delete it on your own. If your abstract is already submitted but the review has not started yet, you can request withdrawal by email to  This email address is being protected from spambots. If review has already started, you need to wait for the outcome of the review and in case of acceptance, you need to withdraw.

Deadlines are fixed and must be held to follow up with review. The server is usually hampered by traffic in the hours leading up to the final deadline, and we encourage you to submit your abstract before the cut-off time. Submitters are responsible for ensuring that their abstract is uploaded on time.

There is no limitation on the number of abstracts submitted by a single author. This also includes co-authorship. Please ensure abstracts do not contain duplicate or overlapping data.

If your abstract is accepted, you must attend EVS 38 onsite with a valid registration to present your work.

There is no need to register for EVS 38 to submit an abstract. If an abstract is accepted, registration of the presenting author to the congress is required to be eligible for publication and presentation of the abstract.

A dialogue presentation is a poster based presentation on a large flatscreen and part of topical sessions of the official Symposium program. Presentation time will be scheduled after review.
